Max Pass Day #4. Sugarloaf USA with J-J, Windchill warning all day, but we were lucky that it wasn't too bad until late in the afternoon. Four runs before hot chocolate break at mid-mountain (Bullwinkle's-nice place!). Was pretty cold at the top of Skyline, though!

Four runs after hot chocolate. Pretty windy and COLD at the end. Hit all of the lifts that were open today, including the 'people movers'. Pretty good coverage of the area in two days.

Snow Fun: #1: 25 minutes is my guess, but maybe less to clean off the car and shovel out around it, while J-J dealt with the snow thrower on the rest of the driveway.

Day #2 Max Pass: Morning Runs at Loon Mountain. Even though we got 5" of snow last night, it was pretty icy. I blame all of the snowboarders... 4 Runs

Afternoon runs. Took it easier (my legs are not in shape yet for much) and had the goal of riding all of the lifts that were open today. Fun time! 7 runs if you could the magic carpet :-),

Green Course - Urban Forestry Center, Portsmouth, NH. Last Orienteering of the year. Managed to finish most of the course before the snow started. Still not much running, so I was 11 out of 15. Missed the goal, but it was the hardest course offered so all of the good people went there.

Beaver Brook, Brown course. Glad this was on the short side, as I was pretty tired. Happy to have completed these three courses for the weekend. Having not been on a 1:10,000 map in a while I was off and surprisingly overshot a number of controls. 4th out of 7. A bit disappointed to not make my goal.

Westmoreland Sanctuary - Brown Course. Slow start, solid controls 2 thru 8, then pretty much a free-fall. Still I believe I ended up third out of 11 finishers but with 18 minutes of error. Argh!

Orienteering 1:16:06 [3] 4.7 km (16:12 / km) +129m 14:14 / km

Annual Ratlum Night-O Long Course. I'm happy I did the longer version, even though I was in the midst of the crazy stream of Cadets from West Point. 31st out of 42, so not my best showing in the results!
