Explore to the northeast. First bit a bit dull down the main road, but from then the climb up through the hills was lovely and also a very nice gradient. Easy and not very exciting back from Arque. Nice day to be riding and very much enjoyed it.

Trail 'run' home from the lake in Quillan - again trying and being successful in moving very slowly, but effort levels and heart didn't agree. It was pretty warm and some fatigue from yesterday's cycle, but still shouldn't have been this hard work.

Loop via fa and Crux. Cooler this morning and thunderclouds gathering, but still warm and humid. Pleased enough with the effort and kept moving on the climbs - though did have to stop three times for a couple of minutes to recover.

Cycle round the hill to the south, including a few short bits of new to me roads. Col was only 677m (starting from about 260m) but still felt like a good pull, gradient was nice though. Pretty cool and damp in patches after a pretty big thunderstorm in the afternoon - actually got cool on the descent.
