Online FVO Pilates session. This was good fun, though I was quite rubbish - fortunately I had accidentally turned my webcam off so no one could see my uselessness. Will be good to make this a regular session over the next few weeks.

SDR (sure everyone can work out what that means these days) with MOK on Llangydnir Common an eastwards. Amazing day, but quite a chilly wind (which was thankfully behind us for the second half). Quiet bit of the hills this but still saw a notable number of people out. Eastern half was great, lots of running on grassy tramways and great views. Shouldn't have taken so to get out here. Tired by the end and felt like 10km further than it actually was,

A socially distanced ride with Mark - loop up to Caerphilly Mtn and around Sengenydd Common, lovely day and really nice to be out. Also have never, ever, seen Fforest Fawr so busy - car park was grid lock with people trying to get in and out. Seems the way to get people to spend time outside with their families is to both them them not to do it (saw one group which appeared to be two full families of three generations all playing together) and close the shops.

Met Martyn for an afternoon run - he was pretty stressed so good to get him out. Much faster than yesterday, but coped okay, but wouldn't have wanted to put any more effort in. Went for an explore around Caerphilly Golf Course as it was light and it was empty. Skinned my shin nicely on a wall. Again, as busy as I have ever seen it on a Friday and we didn't even go to any of the popular places.

Bimble with Emma up the Garth and around Pentyrch, although it was quite a long bimble. Very enjoyable and good to get some air into my lungs after a week of inactivity. Considering it was a working day afternoon (working from home has some perks), there were a lot of people out.

In to the office to drop the camera off. Needed to get out and get some air through my lungs. Need to replace the chain on the SS.

Note

Cough improving but still hanging in there in a very annoying way. Not sure if the Maprun happened this evening, but wasn't in condition to do it anyway. Set the turbo up but didn't get around to using it. Working from home is boring, tough and not very interesting! It's also very frustrating as our internet connection is rubbish and the work VPN is overloaded.
