Out to cafe Velo with Mark. Took quite a wile as first my chain caught on my front derailer, twisting it out of place, then the chain snapped. my fault, it was a new chain that i had made a mess of putting on. Thought it would last longer than half a ride though.

Bit more efficient on the way back, though only having 4 gears to chose from made both going up and down slow. Nice to be out and saw dozens and dozens of other cyclists.
From the village car park in Merthyr Mawr to the beach and back. Not a bad day but a little cloudy. Knee held up well and didn't get sore.

A very, very, very short swim in the sea. Wasn't sure that I was going to do this but it was actually really nice. Sure was cold getting in, but not really any more so than in the summer. Was a great feeling getting out though.
Planning on cycling but didn't fit it in. Did make it for a walk up the Garth at 1am (should be logged as tomorrow?). Found a couple of guys on their way home on the lane on the way back who had discovered an unconscious lady who was bleeding from a head injury in the middle of the road. She had come around when we turned up but had lost a lot of blood via bump to her head (had stopped bleeding) but was confused (and drunk) and getting cold. As we were trying to sort out an ambulance her sister turned up in a car (she had left her in a drunk but healthy situation as she had refused to walk any further. As the ambulance said it would be a minimum of an hour and her sister was willing to take her, we opted to move her, deciding that risk of moving her was less than getting her seen to sooner (especially as she wouldn't keep still anyway). Not sure that her sister was in a fit state to drive either though...
