In to town to watch the half marathon and to try and support Kris. Got a thumps up from him just after the start, missed him at the second viewing point (he was going too quick) and then got saw him again just after half way and just before the finish. Quite a tidy time!
12 PM

Bike - Road 28:07 intensity: (4 @0) + (12:43 @1) + (14:48 @2) + (32 @3) 11.65 km (2:25 / km) +49m 2:22 / km
ahr:121 max:145

Home from town. Lots of people in the way. Still surprisingly cool - but would have been great weather for running.

Around a bit of the Gower with Emma, partly as she has hardly been there and partly to fill an annoying gap in the coast path at Oxwich! Very slow pace but very enjoyable and mild without being warm.

ahr:141 max:160

IW. Warm with a following wind. Motored in. Passed a bloke on a mountain bike who then went back past me as if he was trying to break away from a peleton. he was moving well, but what an idiot. Did of course catch him again a bit later.
5 PM

Bike - Road 28:29 intensity: (1:36 @1) + (2:37 @2) + (7:35 @3) + (16:41 @4) 12.8 km (2:14 / km) +50m 2:11 / km

Run - Trail 55:54 intensity: (17 @0) + (1:28 @1) + (24:48 @2) + (23:37 @3) + (5:44 @4) 9.0 km (6:13 / km) +226m 5:31 / km
ahr:136 max:161 shoes: Salomon Fellraiser 2017 (blue)

MDC run around Llantrisant in fading light, decent group out but just about everyone opted for the slower group, leaving just 4 of us in the faster group. Really struggled to get moving at the start, but eventually got going. Explored some new bike paths and checked out some new thinning before heading out of the woods. Found a great new way off the hill and back along the valley. Possibly the first MDC run that I've done without a stop?

ahr:117 max:138

IW. Lovely, but cool morning. Saw no cyclists until after Radyr, which is unusual. Quads not great but behaving better than yesterday.
