MDC run around Wentwood. really enjoyed this despite it not being a very exciting location. Lovely evening, mild and not raining! Plenty of mud about though. Legs were great, so treated it more like a farlek session with quite a few decent efforts thrown in. Some great paths here but it would take quite a bit of knowledge to learn what is nice and what is not! Shame they've felled about half of the only part of the area that wasn't full of brambles.

Warm up in the mud and slush. Not as much as I'd have liked but feeling quite fresh.

Run - Orienteering race 34:51 [5] 5.59 km (6:14 / km) +161m 5:27 / km
shoes: VJ Supra 2018

JK Relays, Beaudesert, M120+, Leg 3, 5.0km, 175m, 24 controls.
Went out in 4th I think, some 40 seconds down on SYO. Somehow, despite a really awful run, managed to come back in second.

Started well and was doing my own thing until #10 where Oli suddenly appeared right in front of me (think he lost time somewhere here as well?). Slowed down to be safe but things had already gone wrong as I was reading the leg to #14. Things there got worse when I found #13, not knowing it was mine, but realising what I had done. Didn't know where I was but then manage to relocated off #12 (and saw Oli leaving it), then back to #11.

Kept up the muppetry by leaving #12 and heading towards #14... And again by making the route between #20 and #21 four times longer than it should have been. Best part of 4 minutes lost. Luckily I have good team mates!

Back from an Easter egg hunt with Greg (it was Penny and Joby, not Greg, who were egg hunting). Long easy section along the canal followed by a climb over Baildon Moor. Forgot my watch so going to have to nick the GPX off Greg.
