Climbing 45:00 [1]

1:30:00 at Boulders with Mark. Nice to be somewhere different and routes and holds were a different style, but don't think it was worth the extra cost. Very cautious with my climbing as not wanting to fall off, Mark climbing well. Back got tight but didn't hurt.

SWOC Score in Llantrisant. Despite having mapped this I haven't run here, and not sure that today really counts either. Still cautious about the back so shadowed Mark around. Easy pace but aside from some non-optimal control order, no real problems. Until he disappeared. Waited for a bit before just heading back to the finish. Appears he got trapped by brambles. Forest actually quite decent and the back held up fine, at the easy pace at least.

Long day on site followed by office Christmas party (I went for the food and then came straight home to sleep). No time for anything else even had I wanted to do it.

IW. Fail. Tyre that had a slow puncture last week (stayed up for two days) wouldn't stay inflated. Pumped it up three times before resigning to having to fix it (left the new spare tubes at home). Fixed it badly and it went down. Fixed it again again a but better and it just about got me to work. 70 minutes all in.

HFW. Another pump up got me home.

Was going to to a hill session with MDC but I wasn't up for that yet, so was planning just joining in as a jog. However no one seemed to want to that much either so it turned into a social jog.

Woo-hoo, a run! A very slow run with the MDC 'steady' group to test things out. Body a bit sluggish, due to the cold I think, but back behaving itself and the only sore bits are muscular. Progress. Cold drizzle out and some icy snow on top of the Garth.

Feel okay today, just the promise of ice put me off cycling. Back also feeling normal, going to have to test it a bit further soon. Beautiful day, would loved to have been in the snowy hills.
