Bramley Fall Middle Distance, 5.3km, 130m, 22 controls. Only second event of the year, didn't notice it technically but was in no racing shape physically. Not helped by not being repaired to go orienteering, so dressed as a punter and running in my trail shoes, not ideal. Lack of a sweatband was a bit of an issue in the muggy weather, but no descriptions or compass wasn't, hired SI card was a bit slow though.

Lovely area, awful, awful map, particularly the contours. Had fun puntering around as the result was never going to be spectacular, even saw Mr Burke out in the woods, first time I've seen him as at an event for years.

Run with Greg out to Burley Moor, lovely mild day but was still feeling flat energy wise. New route through Guiseley to finish was almost more excitement than I could coupe with.
