After feeling so bad yesterday opted for some recovery today and spent an enjoyable morning wandering around Harlow Carr with the family while orienteers were running all over the shop.

Wanting to do a long run but had to cut it short due to the usual bad feelings; legs, especially quads feeling week, heart rate feeling odd and higher than it should be and feeling dizzy if I did try and push harder. Frustrating but it was a nice run and a nice day to be out and I know that without the issues then I would have been running grand.

Easy backwards around The Chevin and Danefield. Feeling horrible in the legs and not improving. Sun was out and bumped into Brownlee Jr on an isolated bit of woodland trail.

Got stuck at work so very disappointingly I missed the MDC run. Have had plenty of things to sort out to fill the time though. A day of rest is also being appreciated by my whinging legs.

Very easy jog around Llantrisant with the organiser, letting him know where I wanted the registration, parking, the start etc... Headed for a loop around the area after. Body still feeling very tired so was happy for the very easy pace and enjoyed the evening sunshine.
