New area to map (5.15 hours); Colzium, out near Kilsyth, an old FVO map but not used for years, which is not understandable as it's a nice little area and perfect for WEEs. Nice woods and boulders today and I came home with quite a trophy collection; two golf balls, a tennis ball and a yoke for throwing tennis balls. All I didn't find was a dog -al though a few did actually find me.
No coughing today!!!

Planning on mapping today but woke up to a covering of snow and mist so that was a no goer from the start. Too nice an opportunity not to get out though so tied on the dobs and headed up the hill for a trot. So glad that I did, as it was one of those glorious days, after about 10 minutes I was above the mist and in a perfectly still and blue sky day with snow glistening on the trees and white mountains all around. Could have run all day had I been healthier.
Giving my cough more time to recover - it's getting very frustrating as I feel completely fine otherwise. A little on the windy side to run anyway today - lost electricity for several hours in the evening so had to wrap up warm.
Final trip to Falkirk (3 hours), and not a very interesting one as it was a big hill covered in young trees, not part of the original boundaries but an area that will improve a lot in several years so worth marking a start on. Plus I found a sofa and suitcase to add to my homely belongings - though the tent is proving to be a little chilly in this weather.
Wasn't sure if they'd be too much snow in the woods for mapping today but it proved to provide a sufficiently minor hindrance (4.5 hours at Falkirk). Had to wrap up well though. Found a set of boot prints wandering around some of the woods - it's very strange what some people get up to...

Feeling good before this session but cough cam on right rotten once I started, so not a very good work out for me. Somewhat lacking direction without Lard at the reigns as the rest of us muddled through trying to remember what to do!
