Another super enjoyable run around Grantown with Lard, this time heading into the woods to the north (which are new to me) before circling back around to more familiar terrains. Legs tired but as tired as Lard's so didn't suffer too much! Quality weekend of running - a few more weeks like this (without getting ill) I may start to feel normal again!

Around Anagach on the wee trails and terrain with Lard. Really enjoyable; the forest was open and runnable and I was feeling okay - it wasn't even raining!

Mapping 1:30:00 [0]

7 hours on Sauchie in some lovely woods but also some brutally steep hills. Legs not yet used to this kind of exposure so were pretty tired by the end of the day, hence another day without running. Found a sign post pointing to Australia in the woods!

6 hours out on Sauchie - right pain getting to this area as it's so far from any access. Lots of nice woods today, but didn't find anything of note within them - unless an 19th century ornamental pond counts?

3.45 out at Sauchie, first time in the new extension bit of woodland, some minging felled stuff but also an amazingly nice bit of mature deciduous woodland in between.

Around Stirling Uni with Lard checking stuff for an event he's planning - map needs a little updating. Was grateful for the nice and easy pace but not the super steep, slippery and overgrown hill. Watch was in a bad mood at the start and failed to start twice, meaning that I lost the first 10 minutes of the run.

Last run in France, and another very nice one as well. I even felt good for a brief moment at the top of the big climb, paid for it later in the run though! With Greg (Lard cried it off) up to the plateaux and back a new route via Campagne. An absolutely gloriously sunny and warm morning - not looking forward to getting back to the rain and mud.

Legs pretty battered so appreciated a slow and mostly down hill run across the plateaux from Nebias with Lard. A little overcast but a cracking run.
