Note
(injured) (rest day)

Headed out to the Oing on Eyam Moor, too sore to do any myself but did have a good two hour walk with the old ones and had some great views of the area. Surprised to see just how few people can navigate in a smooth fashion, most people stopping an awful lot. Marched up the hill (about 5 minutes) to get my legs and lungs working a bit.

Note
(injured) (rest day)

Was planning on cranking up the hours a bit this evening with a turbo-training session, but the available time evaporated leaving me with none spare remaining.

Did get the all clear from the hospital on my shoulder though, so I am now officially discharged and I supposed assumed to be better. Shame it doesn’t quite feel like that yet though.

Run - Road 4:25 [1]
(injured) shoes: Asics Gel GT 1120 07

Not quite sure that I’d classify it as a run but i did managed a run of sorts back from the SYO training at The Edge. Glad it wasn’t any further, as although my legs wanted to go further the rest of my body had had enough; neck, shoulder and back starting to hurt and I was even getting a stitch. This is going to be a long slow recovery yet.

On the positive side, the NHS are moving my physio from the NGH to Hallamshire as they should be able to se me there before the end of January – not sure how long it will be though.

Note
(injured) (rest day)

Need to sort myself out; there was no reason that I didn’t do any exercise today other than sheer laziness. Pull yourself together boy! No real excuse anymore either as I’m feeling completely normal in everyday life. Will give it a run of some sorts a go in the next day or so.

Note
(injured) (rest day)

Couldn’t face the turbo-trainer when I got home so I had yet another day doing very little other than parking myself on my ever increasing back side.

Got a letter from the NHS informing me that they would try very hard to get me to see a physio before the end of January...
