Bike - Static 30:00 [2]
(injured)

Determined to get back on the bike today, it was easy effort wise and the boredom was somewhat diverted by watching the end of an old James Bond, but it was still challenging to stay awake. Also tried a few shoulder exercises so I think that it may be a little stiff tomorrow.

10 weeks. Initially thought that I would be well better by now, but that still seems some way off yet. Still can’t lie on my right side due to my back and ribs and my neck and shoulder still get sore after any sore of extra use. Busy day sorting out lots of little things but not any exercise.

Neck check today, got given the all clear so although it is still sore, I should not have to worry too much about damaging it if I do a bit more than I really should.

Was planning on another short spin but sort of ran out of time and motivation.

Note
(injured) (rest day)

Shoulder got very sore at work and my neck progressively during the day; I don't think that either was connected to yesterday's exertions but no need to push anything too much at this stage. Otherwise feeling grand.

Bike - Static 15:00 [2]
(injured)

Cranked it up to 15 minutes today and even through a few intervals in (you have to do something to keep your mind occupied while on a turbo-trainer). Got up a proper sweat and my heart beating at a decent rate. Body didn't know what was happening so informed me that it wasn't much enjoying the experience and that that was quite enough. Legs a bit tired from yesterday's effort but otherwise no unwanted side effects.

Bike - Static 10:00 [2]
(injured)

Whoop, I'm not at the very bottom of AP any longer! - just. Not getting too excited, it was only 10 minutes of minimal effort on the turbo-trainer, but it was at least exercise. Took most of the time to warm up as legs were feeling very, very heavy, but it did feel good to get a little air into my lungs. Didn't want to do too much as I don't know what the after effects are going to be but it felt grand while doing it.
