Some sort of O event in Cannock, not sure what as I pottered around the forest looking at sculptures and Go-Ape when the others were running. Boyzone managed to open the cut on his nose (occurred from an impact with an elderly gentleman in the maze yesterday - Boyzone came off worse) by running in a branch at the perfect height... Numpty!
Maize Maze Oing. Was planning on doing all three courses but they were quite a bit longer than I was expecting and when it started raining during the first one I gave up on the idea completely. It got very slippery and sticky and the lateral movement (as well as all the twists and turns from the maze) caused my back to hurt a lot. Great fun though and I really would have liked to be able to run it, not all that difficult at a walk (especially the longer legs) but enough to keep you thinking. Finished 80th out of a 100 finishes on the course that I did! Will look forward to next years.

Some chavs in a 4X4 chucked something at me while driving past which hit me on the hand and made me jump, wrenching my neck. They drove on laughing. Just what goes on in some peoples heads is not possible to understand.
Had to hike up the hill to the top of Eccy road (from Woodseats) with a bag on so it was quite a work out, very sore by the time I got there but it feels good that I did actually do something a little harder.
Rushed around Sheffield looking for a house with GG all afternoon (found a great place by the Botanical Gardens) and then walked back. A bit much for my back though as it's been aching all evening. Still, progress is being made as I did manage quite a lot of active movement and haven't had any pain killers for the past few days.
40 minutes with a backpack across Sheffield, a little more than my back wanted to do but it was good to give the shoulder a bit of use. Quite stiff and a bit sore from yesterday but not in a bad way.
Epic day. Went for a walk which ended up being quite a bit longer than planned (about 90 minutes). Managed to sleep for a few hours on my side last night (until now I have been exclusively in an inclined position on my back) and also didn't take any painkillers.
