Sprint race. I had a lot of fun and I’m pretty happy with how it went. I’ve been having a hard time pushing myself physically in orienteering races recently because I get distracted by navigation. Compared to my workouts, the physical part should be easier or faster but according to my HR from these races, I’m running as fast as I possibly can, but it doesn’t match up with the perceived effort. That probably makes no sense. I will post map, analysis and splits in a few hours. Overall, this was a great race and the didn’t get lost in the arboretum area which has never happened in this venue!

6 seconds slower than my 800 PR pace!
I honestly felt awful during the workout but I ran exactly 2:05 every time so that was great!

This was way faster than normal recoveries, but the HR data looked the same as other runs that are ~40 seconds per mile slower. Also, Aubree, Clara and I all wore our Georgia shirts today although we did not run together.
