Hudson Mills and trail to Dexter. Very few bugs, which is what the goal was.

3.5 MHz / Fox-O practice. Also fixed top panel of my receiver. Tried orienteering at Clear Lake but bugs were even more awful than Monday so just going to wait until the next storm and go when its raining.

Forgot to mention my SMOC jersey finally arrived! First time wearing it was Saturday at the Mt Pinos, CA ARDF training camp and it was my fastest ever 144 MHz Classic finish, so clearly the SMOC owl jersey makes you go faster! :)

Ran Waterloo HQ red course from an event last fall. The swarms of bugs relentlessly dive-bombing me made for one of the most miserable runs of my life. Got 8 instances of a a bug sucked into my mouth during a breath this time and had to poof and/or spit them out. Vegetation pretty thick too. Even the grassy areas were over knee-high. Although not as many picker bushes as I feared. Probably a really pleasant run during the O-seasons. Time to brush the bugs out of my teeth.
