Orienteering at Glen Nant, got my brother and sister to make me a course, pretty pleased with my nav but the running wasn't feeling great until last 4k. so happy to be training on such a good area though

first time on the hill in a while, took it easy as not feeling 100% and didn't want to get ill

long run after the beep test was not a good idea, was not feeling good

Orienteering (JIRCs relay) 29:00 [3] 4.52 km (6:25 / km)

went off on third leg in 1st with immy 20 seconds behind in 2nd, knew that I was going to be racing it with her so forced myself to focus and actually read the map. first 2 controls pretty clean then took a different routechoice to her to no.3, think it was a good route but executed it really badly- had to relocate off fence and found immy again at the control, raced with her to no.4 but both ran past it and had to turn around, ran 5,6 and 7 with immy leading then overtook her going up the hill to 8, I led 9, 10, 11 and 12 with immy right behind me then executed last control well, kicked on the run in to take the win by 1 second. big confidence boost and most fun I've had orienteering in ages.
