Track. 3 x 600m, 5 min rest then 3 x 150m sprints. Like last week paced it way too fast on the first couple (1:44 on first, then 1:48, 1:53) 150s were fine, but never my strong point.

4 x 300m then 5 minute rest then repeat. I paced it very badly by going off way too fast on the first 2 (46 and 48s), so was very tired by the fourth so had to miss out the fifth. So only ended up doing 7 of 8 reps.
Also my calf is still sore from Monday - I'll try to keep rolling it.

Running race 4:48 [5] 1.5 km (3:12 / km)

Sports day 1500m race. On a 200m grass track in trainers so pretty happy with it.
7 PM

Running intervals 20:00 [5] 2.4 km (8:20 / km)

On track. 3 x 200m with 200m jog/walk back. 5 minutes rest than repeat.

Tuesday Jul 6, 2021 #

Running intervals 22:00 [4] 5.16 km (4:16 / km)

Pyramid session. 15s, 30s, 60s, 75s, 90s and back down. Jogs between each were twice the time of the runs.

Yvette Baker Finals. Course length 5.1km. I made a ~1 minute mistake to control 1 from setting off to quick and not making any plan. Also 20-30s on controls 9 and 10, both times stopping slightly too early before realising exactly where I was. Overall though not a bad race.
