Bit late to the event so 2km run up to starts for a warm up.

East Midlands Champs at Chinley Churn, blue course 6.5km. Only one very small mistake at control 5, maybe 20 seconds, so pretty happy with my run.

1500m race. 4:42.5 so a 1 second improvement from 7 weeks ago, not very happy with that, but I ran 90% of the race on my own so didn't really have anyone to pace against.

4 x 90s run with 1 min jog between. Then 4 x 200m sprint walking back between.

2 x 5 minutes with 3 minutes rest between. Then after 5 mins rest 4 x 1 min with 1 min jog between. Very hot so pretty difficult and not so fast.

Northern champs at High Dam. Running going smoothly until control 8 (exactly like yesterday), where I lost about a minute looking too high up the slope. Another 30s lost at 9 from overshooting because I couldn't see the wall as planned. Then to cap it off lost 5 minutes on 10, searching almost within the control circle the whole time, just kept thinking I had overshot. Again, I need to practice relocation. After that the run went fine navigationally, but I was slowing down towards the end - I need more practice on hilly terrain.

British middles. Run was going perfect until control 8 where I left the path too early and was searching around every re-entrant just south of the control, loosing about 5 minutes (need to get better at backtracking earlier to relocate). The rest of the course was fine.
