Soccer Practice 1:20:00 [4]

First time back out on the pitch since October. Much different kind of running than O. Maybe a bit of speed work? Felt pretty safe COVID wise though. We were able to keep good distance with passing drills and having masks on while not playing. Felt good to be back.

Felt as though People overall were happy with the courses today. Got some very nice pointers from the finishers too. I hope next time will be even better!!

I tried to do the "pink line challenge" and go the shortest distance possible on green. I definitely could had been better at staying to one side of the line when I drifted, instead of zigzagging across it in places. I feel much more confident in taking and following bearings, so mission accomplished for now.

I definitely respect and admire people who go out and set multiple meets every season. Mostly because of the long day. It's that feeling of being physically exhausted, but you can't wait to do it again soon.

Chill ride. The sun was great, the wind, not so much. I also forgot gloves, making the ride just a little less enjoyable. Did try and go for a KOM sprint at the end for fun but I didn't really know exactly where it was. I will be going back to give it a real try now that I know where the segment is!

Finished up the last of the points today. some tweaks needed to be figured out, but overall, almost finished. Some really awesome statues to hide controls behind! I know it'll feel great to start putting out controls on Friday. Pretty excited (in the nervous kind of way) for Saturday. I'll let people know how it went if they want to know. Until then, I'll enjoy this spurt of warm weather we're having! May make Saturday extra muddy with snowmelt, but sounds like a fun day to me.

First time this year we got enough to really ski on. It was hard work making trails on the way out, but it only made the trip back more enjoyable.

Did end up getting blisters on only my middle toes... Weird but fun!
