Billygoat Run, Burnt Mountain,NH.
A challenging course in challenging terrain. I wasn't up for it, not by a long shot. With a lack of distance training, I didn't expect to do well, but not this badly. Went around with Frances H, who wasn't in much better shape than me. We picked up Eric B going to #3 and he was content to tag along. At #9 we realized we were out for more than 2 hours and knew completing was not possible. We decided to go as far as #12, check in, have a snack and just return to the finish.
Maybe next year.
