Note

Work day with Scenic Hudson at their High Bank Preserve. Removing invasives ( Black Swallow Wort in this case) at the overlook. Also helped spread wood chips around the perimeter of a black plastic covered area. The plan is to leave it for two or three years to kill off all the vegetation and replant with native plants and grasses. Not an efficient way to deal with invasives, but and interesting experiment. I suspect there will be a problem with vandals.
