Running 40:29 [2] 5.88 km (6:53 / km)

Neighborhood run.
Mostly sunny with clean crisp air. A gusty wind from the west wasn't a factor. Felt creaky and lethargic before the run, but once out I was fine. Happy with this effort.

Note

Japanese music at the Francis Lehman Loeb Art Center.
The concert was in connection with an exhibition of Japanese wood block prints inspired by, or depicting scenes from, 'The Tales of Genji'. Kaoru Watanabe and Sumie Kaneko played traditional Japanese instruments, with some vocals. Selections included traditional Japanese and what might be called a traditional/jazz fusion. Wasn't sure how much I would like Japanese music, but this was quite enjoyable.

More pleasant than Sunday. Warmer with some wind from the south. The wind wasn't much of a factor.

Running 41:46 [2] 5.84 km (7:09 / km)

Neighborhood run.
Chilly with a brisk wind from the north. The only positive with the wind is it was on my back going up the major hills. Was dressed OK except for my hands, which were cold throughout the run.

Note

Brunch at Sprout Creek Farms. Most of the food from the farm. Excellent!
