Other (Snow removal) 30:00 [1]

Scraper and shovel. The driveway had a covering of sleet and slush. This probably would have melted over the next couple of days, but if it did freeze, the driveway would have been a mess.

weight:151.4lbs

Normally don't run the day after a long elliptical session, but the day was so nice ......
Clear sunny sky with the temp in the low 30s and a brisk north wind. Since we didn't get the promised snow dump yesterday, the summer loop is still good. Still some snow from the last storm, but only in the heavily shaded areas and not a problem. Jacket kept the wind at bay.

A hawk (R.T.?) when cruising by during the run, the second hawk sighting of the day. Saw another perched on a street lamp on the way into work.

Recumbent warm up/down 20:00 [2]

Star trac. Alpine Pass program at level 11.

Strength (machines) 1:00:00 [1]

Usual set of machines, plus Dip.
Adductor at 160.

Note

The weather forecast called for snow to begin sometime Saturday afternoon and end mid day Sunday. Accumulation of 6 to 10 inches. Woke up and there was a dusting of snow on the ground. So instead of a leisurely morning and a couple of hours removing snow, I got to watch a movie.

Elliptical (546i) 2:00:00 [2]

Cross train 2, 60 minutes at level 17.
First two minutes at level 18.
Cross train 2, 60 minues at level 16.

Cardio cinema: The Taking of Pelham 123; Denzel Washington &
John Travolta; 2009.
