Orienteering 1:17:06 [3] *** 5.5 km (14:01 / km)
ahr:147 max:161 16c

Westmorland: HVO picnic.
Two score type courses available. Preprinted maps. SI.
Brain: W/Y level controls. Each had a multiple choice question. Score points with correct answers. 1:5000 map.
Brawn: Advanced controls. 16 total (10 points each). One hour limit (-5 points each minute overtime). 1:10000 map.
Chose Brawn. Intended to do controls in reverse numerical order. Inadvertently skipped 14, so order was 16-15-13-14-12 ......
Felt really good for about the first 15 minutes, but then the heat, humidity and lack of conditioning began to take hold. Also, this part was mostly down of flat. Went to all controls as I felt extra training was more useful then trying to maximize my score.
Course was advertised as about 6K, but my FR showed 5.5K (not exactly straight line).

Recumbent warm up/down 20:00 [2]
max:151

Star trac. Alpine Pass program, mostly at level 11 (middle hill at 10).

Usual set of machines.
Minus Biceps (broken)
Had no enthusiasm and considered stopping early.

Running 44:00 [2] 5.48 km (8:02 / km)
ahr:137 max:166 weight:149lbs

BHAC/S
Less humid than yesterday, so I managed my normal distance. It was a little short as my route was altered to avoid camper activities on a couple of the ball fields. Ozone was quite noticeable.

Running 37:35 [2] 4.71 km (7:59 / km)
ahr:136 max:154 weight:150lbs

BHAC/S
Summer day. Hazy, hot and humid. I had intended to do an indoor session, but when I left the building, it seemed like an OK day to run. Cut the run short, however.

Trail running (HH training) 1:53:15 [2] 12.75 km (8:53 / km)
ahr:138 max:157

Baird Park
Big difference from last Sunday. Last week was fun, this was work. Didn't intend to do the N loop a second time, kept making all of the right turns to do it. There are a couple of options to cut the loop short, but went by them. Hope no damage done.
