Mid 20s with lots of sun. Still a lot of snow in the park. Some of the trails were clear while some had crusty snow or refrozen foot tracks. Short run as this was tiring.

Cloudy, but fairly bright sky. Mid 30s with a gusting wind. Brought along my snowshoes in case of bad conditions, but the skiing was OK. No access to the western part of the golf course without taking off the skis to cross bare ground, so I stayed on the east.

Clear sunny skies helped convince me to get out today. By the time I got to the park the skies had clouded over and a chilly wind was blowing. Mid 30s. There was a crusty surface to the snow, sometimes breaking through and sometimes not. Conditions were quite challenging for my skill level. Took a couple flops on nearly flat ground: no harm done. The biggest annoyance was the poles getting hung up on the snow crust.
