Cloudy, around 40F and a brisk wind from the west.

Intended to do some skiing today, but when I got to the park I realized that I forgot my boots. I normally leave them in the car, but took them out last time for some reason. Maybe just as well, as I would have ended up with a wet backside. My Rayburn water pack (camelback like) had sprung a leak at the base of the tube. I've been using this for about the last fifteen years.

Baird Park
Low 40's, sunny and calm. Waited until afternoon to let the snow soften a bit. Seems like a good choice as there was about an inch of wet granular on top of a very solid base. Very smooth and easy. Since the last time I was here, the park has cleaned the snow off of the greens. The down side of this were the vehicle tracks all around the course.

Hoped to do a little better, but no complaints.

Ed Erichson 5 Mile, Lagrange.
Temp around 30F and no wind. Cloudy throughout with some flurries at the start and the sun attempting to come out at the end. Mostly flat with some slight rolling hills. There was also a 10 mile event. 59 out of 67. 4 out of 5.

Two to three inches of fine powder beaten down to about an inch with sleet and maybe some freezing rain. Very heavy, but not slushy. Thought about pushing the snow to the driveway edge, but quickly abandoned that idea.
Warming temps have cleared any residual from the blower.

Baird Park.
Some sun, some wind and low 30s.
Deep snow was lots of work. The time included many stops to catch my breath.
