Clear and sunny sky, a slight breeze and temp around 50F and rising. First shorts day this year. Got off to a sluggish start but picked it up a little in the second half. FR was short by about 150M.

Baird Park.
This morning was about 20F colder than yesterday afternoon. The soft surface was now frozen and very slick. Had to be very cautious as the skis kept slipping out to the sides. Avoiding hills again. About an hour into the ski, as the sun started to show itself and the temperature slowly climbed above freezing, conditions started to improve. A little late as I was getting tired. Skiing in the afternoon would have been a much better choice.

Upper 40s and calm. Sunny!, not a cloud to be seen.
The base is still solid, but today the surface was soft. Half inch to an inch starting out. Softening some more as time went on. Very nice.

Cloudy, chilly (around 20F) with a slight breeze.
The improved pace was probably due to trying to get warm.

Usual set of machines. Except for Hip&Back. There was an open area where this machine usually sits. It is supposedly out to be refurbished. Used the Leg Press instead.

All of the ellipticals were in use, so on the bike.
Random hill program at various levels. About 5 miles.

Baird Park.
Mostly cloudy with an off and on breeze. Around 30F. Frozen snow with a slightly granular surface. This was very slick and I made a significant effort to avoid any sizable hills. Fast and fun (for my skill level). Only saw three other skiers. Not sure why people are avoiding this snow.
