A little warmer and more humid than yesterday, but still quite nice. Hoped to go a little faster, but still pleased with this effort.

A near perfect day to ride. Cool, clear and very little breeze. And low humidity. The first section of tresses is now in place over Manchester Road. 400 feet!
A correction on the cost: It's $3.1 million, being footed by the state.

Baird Park
Cloudy, mild and quite humid. Felt quite ordinary for the first couple Km, then very good through the middle. Tired and sluggish for the last 2Km. Overall a good run, longest of the year.

DRT
Probably should have running, but had no motivation for that. Sunny and cool, still in the 60s. Rode the entire section from Manchester Road to H.J. Maybe too much as my hands and butt were numb when I was done.
Some changes in the southern section since I was last there (2012). A couple of newly paved parking areas and an overpass for vehicle traffic to get in and and out of a new housing development.
And beginning this weekend they are putting in the steel beams for the new bridge across Manchester Road. The county is investing $1.3 million in this bridge.

Note

Platelet donation. 4.2 in about 80 minutes.
Plasma donation. 400 ml.

The machines are now programmed so that if you give a single platelet donation, they also take plasma.

Sunny, low 80s. Not as humid as it has been. Felt OK after a sluggish start. Was able to add some distance, maybe a little more than FR gave me credit for.

Biking old 52:55 [2] 15.72 km (3:22 / km)

DRT. First time out this wear. Since I didn't ride at all last year, it's the first time in about 20 months. A little shaky on Titusville Road getting to the DRT, OK after that. Overcast, humid and an occasional breeze out of the south. Easy spin and I kept it reasonably short. Surprisingly, I made the Cortland Drive hill on the way home.

H.H.H. Tired from the beginning. Never got a second wind either. However, the slow pace allowed me to add some distance.

I hadn't seen any deer flies yet this year, but with the weather we've been having I thought it might be a good idea to wear one today. Wise move. Collected about 20.
