Ran at the Twilight Relays Nike Jesuit track meet in the distance medley relay alongside the boys (Cannon Harmer, Cooper Boyle, and McKay Garvin). We managed to get third in our heat.

Track meet at Tahoma. I ran the 1600 and although I didn’t have the best race I ended up with a 4:57 so it wasn’t awful. Just hoping I can make leagues.

Speed/turnover training day, with a warmup, 8x200, and a cooldown. Was way more difficult running on tired legs from monday.

Monday Apr 25, 2022 #

Running 1:00:00 [3] 8.0 mi (7:30 / mi)

This was probably the hardest workout of the track season. We did a ten minute warmup, then a decreasing series of repeats. We started with 2k, then 1600, then 1200, 800, and ended with a 400. All of these were at fast paces. We had a 400 jog recovery between each. We finished by running to mileage.
