Lovely day new route ,up Brampton valley way then on to bridge and road to cottesbrooke then on the byway towards Maidford ,east back to the cycle track .Andrew running well ,I was struggling ,but a much happier experience than when my hamstring went .Left groin hurting ,slow start warming up 6-37 6-12 6-00 5-51 ,6-11 ,5-39,5-44,5-47,5-30,5-30 59-01 for ten km finish 1-44 .Good route ,dream is to extend to Maidford !

Gym work,absolutely horrendous conditions so gym ,followed by tread mill

5 times one km on treadmill,starting at 4.57 increasing towards the end of eac rep ,also marginally increasing the starting km speed down to 4-52 but ending at 4-30 .Was sweating a lot at the end and finding pace hard but pleased ,made sure did hamstring exercises at end

Took Ned for hill intervals instead of our usual steady run ,and he is on holiday
So did 2 groups of 4 up hill in badby woods from four angles in all one hour with big hill to start,998 feet on neds phone

Gym ,static weights ,planks ,hamstring exercises and 5 1 minute reps first at 5 mins a km then 4-40,4-30 ,4-15 4-00 hamstring fine vague ache in left lower calf ,after yesterday feeling so ill after run ,my heart stress high intensity easy session

Had to change plan so short run ,on a clear day ,found working too hard at school so last km slower 5-21 ,5-57 6-00 5-40 5-30 ,legs heavy from cross trainer ,and right knee slightly sore ?
