Felt a bit better ,very cold wind ,did not have to work hard until last 4 km into the wind ,which increased the work rate considerably ,quite pleased how I felt ,slightly longer to avoid mud so around on the road to the path

Ali wanted to do park run ,go to Upton ,see daventry people ,their race cancelled close nearly went.Felt very tired from yesterday suspected would be slowest ever ,was correct.Did not feel too bad slow start ,wind not too bad on causeway first lap look over and see Ali in the lead !Second lap very strong gust unlucky .4-59 !?5-22 5-03 5-20 4-55 22 sec finish .Slowest ever ! Splits do reflect wind ,did not feel benefit with the wind

Windy again pre storm Dennis ,or Dennis the menace,orienteering cancelled tomorrow was going to help and radio northants were coming,pontisplain? cancelled expect Leicester to be cancelled tomorrow,anyway ,much quicker run although felt I was working hard ,but first km heartening 5-42 5-58 5-35 5-14,5-15 last bit 57 secs suprised when the wind hit us going towards church ,anyway andrew 28-13 ,pleased fastest for awhile and did not feel good

As so windy tried badby woods more sheltered ,some damage heavy work uphill and very muddy poor choice of paths ,still enjoyable ,sprinted down hill as a storm of sleet and snow was coming just got in the car

So storm Ciara cancels orienteering wise of organisers ,after texts I come up with playing gym exercises for Andrew and myself .This was a real brain wave ,very windy but not raining,avoids the bug ridden gym which in a months time will be the place not to go.Anyway distance of running was 6 km which involved laps of 400 m with a little top up at the end to get there ,warm up first lap then 3 mins per apparatus some tough some easy run a lap then a new one ?13 ,time flew unlike the gym 70 mins!

Retry leg as seems to have freed up from all with mum,it holds run steadily warm up a lot ,worry about tyre pressure in hire car ,get to red flag at tor’s point ,should have a done this run but cheers me up

Decide to go and see snowdrops at senwick Wood ,recent felling spoilt site ,took lots of photos of tragic grave stones ,then take new forestery road back to brighouse road ,Wood in the high part is much better ,in fact most runable forest in this part of Scotland,narrow wood but would be good for out and back o,felt better than when I started but lovely down hill finish so that might explain that ,slow Kms even with pauses

Jog out of glenkiln reservoir on a lovely day up bishop hill forest big cairn with a trig point did not get across to communion stones monument too far ,only light work after the last 3 days,top 392 metres quad bike tracks helped

Run from brockhall canal bridge lay-by with ned on a fine morning ,ran up to Leicester branch which I made 5 km there but 5.2 back ,found the last 3 km hard work and breathless and struggled ,but completed 3 hard days in a row so pleased ,time slow considering flat all the way

Distance is measured as per garmin straight line was 6.1 ,did blue nearly did green as ran long yesterday but did not feel too bad

Lovely clear day very windy was going to go anti-clockwise but better usual way in wind ,struggled once again up the hill a little but better than last weeks migrainous episode ,saw the hunt starting to prepare and the laying of the scent ,protected from the wind on the way back ,saw John ward but andrew way a head ,also note time includes warm up and stopping to talk to women to confirm hunt coming ,all in all better than last week and legs I think just normal pains?kms faster too lap 5 5-13 ?six 5-35 7 stopped 6-00 8 5-42 nine 5-38 ten 5-38 Run out of spratton to brixworth car park
