Short long run. Legs feeling naff after cc race so just did a short one on my own rather than join the club.

Surrey XC League

As always really enjoyable day out with the team. First time in the XC spikes and they felt surprisingly good. Managed to be 17th Herne Hill man home so nice to score some points for the B team.

The standard at these events is absolutely awesome. Went and did a local event in the FOD over Christmas and placed 3rd turn up to this run a lot harder and place 106th! Humbling!

Starting the S and C of very easily with a 5minute plank session

To the shops and back. Need to get used to running with the rucksack again in readiness for Marmot Dark Mountains in a couple of weeks.

Forgot to do my core session this morning! (New year's resolution already out the window?) . Oh well sleep was more valuable will try and squeeze it in before or after training this evening.

Easy around my classic Dulwich loop. Life's pretty stressful at the moment so my aim is just to try and keep the running easy and enjoyable this month and set some proper goals in February.
