tarn hows galoppen - brown

very fun course & area, tired a lot in the last 1/4 so a bit less enjoyable as energy was depleting. nav was mostly solid. not too great too 10 and 11 as didn’t have a good plan so a bit hesitant but no actual mistake. 13-14 was a tad poor, another lack of plan leg and running not great going across steep slopes - still ok though. nav was good for the rest of the course except from a couple control circle hesitations. running was ok, not pushing like a major race but still trying relatively hard - was wary of pushing too hard in the beginning because of the sheer length of the course. good practise with naving whilst my brain was very tired at the end which will be useful for longs in the future. took some sweets on the course as well which were good. enjoyed it a lot today and happy with my run :)

todmorden urban

easy round women's open. pretty fun course except for one or two dead legs. pretty hilly in the first section but flattened out a lot except from the end. nav pretty good except from a few minor mistakes. some good route-choice legs especially through streets which will be useful for bulgaria sprint too. didn’t feel great as had a bit of indigestion, knew i would be taking this easy so probably didn’t prepare as well as i should’ve. racing tomorrow so will make sure to prepare better then so i can feel better on the run. also need to get better at crossing roads on urbans as stood for ~30s waiting on two occasions which is very silly but safe i guess. such a nice day today and so warm!

pretty simple course so no mistakes except from being slightly too low at #13 and having to climb a couple contours up. some steep climbs tonight and a lot of contouring so very good practise for bulgaria - will be very different in a forest though. running ok, more 3.5 intensity than 4, probably could have pushed a bit more especially on the downhills. another lovely night for some o :)

knees a bit sore today possibly from yesterday or sitting on a cramped minibus for 4 hours today but felt better on this. had a lot of fun on an otherwise boring route

included rest this time. feeling fine after the weekend and legs completely fine. no issy and emma tonight to motivate me to run fast but powered through without them. lovely night for some fast running :)
