good nav, not necessarily hard though because i know where 90% of the control sites are. main focus of this was the running, felt like i was going at a good pace but have been feeling not 100% today so probably could have been better.

i won’t lie, a bit of a weird area, basically just a big marsh with a couple of rock features but does make for some good endurance o. nav was solid, i went straight on the first part of the long leg which was not the best but that’s all. good practise for next year when the courses are going to be longer!

too far to the left at #1 but nav was good apart from that. #2 was a bit mean, a big long leg and all of the climb condensed into that leg. rest was pretty fun, shorter legs and almost all downhill so enjoyed it. some good endurance training as well :)

love this area, brutal hills but enjoyed it. clean run, spiked practically of them but couple of routes which could have been quicker. good break from work, stress levels have been high recently so a nice re-charge :)

first session for a while, actually quite enjoyed this and feeling good, still room for improvement though. fun to have a lot of people running, most of my previous sessions have been alone and it’s so much better having people with you. feeling motivated to keep this up as this session went well. rolled afterwards and recovery tomorrow :)

steeple + scoat fell ridge

very foggy on the tops which was a bit disconcerting but a fun walk. i think big days in the mountains like this are good for stamina, most of the time i don’t have enough time but i should try to when i can. actual length was 4 hours but just logged an hour.

recovery week finished. actually so boring not running so definitely re-fueled my love for running this week which is good. 8 and a bit weeks to EYOC so starting some proper training next week, excited to get going.
