Long Valley South blue. First event back. Overall not too bad and fun to be racing again. Was running with Mel Slade and a MV runner pretty much the whole time even though doing different routes and i’d overtake on the flats and into controls but as soon as we hit a hill they’d come past me. Really need to work on hills. Pretty scrappy routes and halfway through the blisters from my new shoes got too much so did the second half with my shoe off.
