spiked:18/22c shoes: Inov8 OROC280 (2012)

ran right by my first control on #1, got to blue course one and punched it. over all not too bad, slow legs, bad rout and execution on #15. Also, I do not think I had the right contact lens today, could not read the map at times.
3 PM

3 long horse loops in Forest Park. Still have no full power in legs, despite the effort. May be softer trails have small part in it, too. Nice weather to run, sunny, ~40F.

10 AM

skiing (skating style) 1:08:18 [3] 15.52 km (4:24 / km) +319m 3:59 / km
slept:8.0 shoes: Atomic WC Skating

Morning run: just dusting of fresh snow made it for some tough gliding conditions, max. speed was reduced, hard work going down hills. I was so wasted at the end of it, I went for food and a different pair of skis.
11 AM

skiing 1:01:58 [2] 14.29 km (4:20 / km) +258m 3:59 / km
shoes: Fisher RCS skating

while Fisher pair was generally slower, it made up with even gliding, so I could rest going down hills. That concludes a very good winter skiing season for me. Snow is almost gone in NYC, too.
