Felt fine to begin with, and I managed to run the hill (with a short walk after) but it was still hard going. This was my only run this week and I can tell.

Drama! Dax had a spook as I was getting on, and I ended up hanging over his saddle. I had one foot in the stirrup and Megs dad shouting at me to get off.
For the rest of the lesson he was jumpy and nervous.
I will be sore...

This morning Dax was funny again at the mounting block and I had to get on in the indoor.
After that he was on his toes, feeling himself. We did loads of leg yield in canter and it was a great lesson!!
