Skiing 2:00:00 [3]

went for a ski instead of studying for the slew of exams and assignments I have to do next week. wanted to skate but didn't have the right poles so ended up doing 2hrs of classic at Kelowna Nordic. Its just as beautiful as I remember it, but really flat. their old race/black trails don't look like they've been groomed in years

Because it's reading break and its Friday I figured the gym would be relatively quiet. Boy was I wrong. Still, managed to do some maintenance strength and a lot of core work early this morning. Probably won't be going back there until the summer semester when there's actually no one around

a little tired and sore after sprint camp so naturally went for a skate ski to loosen up and hopefully help the recovery process. Despite that reasoning, went way to hard and climbed a little too much (I was having fun okay) so maybe tomorrow will be a real rest day.

Orienteering race 2:00:00 [5]

Sprint camp day three. I really don't like running in snow, it saps all your energy. BCIT's campus was fun but the set up race had many mistakes. the chase was fast and I would have done well even without the train which kept splitting up and rejoining- nice long legs across parking lots gave a lot of time for planning ahead.

day two of sprint camp. a little sore but feeling good. The forest farsta was very quite good and I found that instead of being distracted by everyone running all over the place, it was quite helpful. otherwise, races were meh.

sprint camp day 1. o-terval training in north van ona map with bridges and multiple levels. very much not used to contending with stairs. a little sore from tueday's intervals

Went on a cold and snowy run with davids and Rachel. ended up doing 2x3x2min Z4 intervals with 2min rest and roughly 5min rest between the two sets. Its been awhile since I've run at speeds like that. Next day: what hurts? my arms, for some reason

Skiing 2:30:00 [3]

went for a skate ski at sovereign and did the 30km loppet route. It was bloody cold and had to keep moving at a fairly good clip to stay warm despite the layers. It was good to get out after the midterm week from hell.
