Note

Had a disappointing JK, suppose it could’ve gone worse but it definitely could’ve gone a lot better. Performed the worst I have in a while over all of the races which is very annoying but going to try and focus on the next selections and races. Onwards and upwards I hope!!

Achilles/heel had been tender since Saturday but thought it was my new shoes rubbing and hurting. Got worse Sunday yet still assumed it was the shoes but this morning I couldnt put hardly any pressure on it and could barely walk without shoes and it was even worse with shoes on. Had a lump running down my achilles and then sticking out to one side slightly which was very painful to touch/move. Taped it and tried all of my pairs of shoes hoping one would have a smaller pain than the others, but it got worse and worse. Had to bail on my run with so much disappointment as my team was ace!! So so sorry guys!!
Hobbled around the field and then travelled home. Lumps larger now but isn't hurting as much as have been elevating it as much as possible. Hoping its nothing too bad!!!

JK Long - 8th (again...)
Consistent but consistently bad!! Made 3.5mins of mistakes ish. #12 bad direction on the tiniest of legs, lost 1min. #14 completely missed the EASIEST ROUTE CHOICE EVER!! lost 2 mins as went around the path which was up and back down again, a few other people missed the straight small path route too. Then lost 30secs at 16 with a awful route through the green and kept sliding in the mud up to the control.

Scrappy race and was not pleased at all. Making bad decisions and stupid errors losing too much time. Had about 4mins of mistakes due to lack of confidence in my nav and not picking out good enough routes.

JK Sprint. Went into this knowing I wasn't one of the fastest runners in my class so knew id have to give it everything to even get top 10. Went out and got a stitch at around number 4 that got worse throughout the course. Deffo slowed me down and was very annoyed because knew I could've ran faster without it! 8th
