took a hit to my pace at miles 7-9 cause of the gravel, and pushed too hard too soon. Ended up getting 40 seconds off my goal of sub 1:20, but a solid race nonetheless. Starting the final few pushes later would’ve saved me a good chunk of time.

Back of right knee hurting unusually. I’ll rest tomorrow, take two easy runs, rest, then race the half.

Pain behind the knee has ranged from hardly noticeable to moderately annoying. I don't think it's going to be a problem, but the half this weekend means a lot to me and I want to be in top form for it.
