Wednesday Aug 17 #

7 AM

Road Bike 2:26:14 [3] 39.42 mi (3:43 / mi)

Another long morning ride. Felt surprisingly strong after yesterday's ride. Perfect weather, much less traffic than yesterday. Once again unsuccessful on my quest for a mid-race Amish whoopie pie.

Tuesday Aug 16 #

10 AM

Road Bike 2:12:53 [3] 35.32 mi (3:46 / mi)

Long and easy ride in New York while visiting Rebekah's sister. Tried riding in a new direction, looping around a Wildlife Management Area. The views were nice, but the roads were busier than I'd like. I also failed to find an Amish whoopie pie. Still, I felt great, it was beautiful, and I had a wonderful ride.

11 AM

Hike/Trekking 38:11 [1] 0.84 mi (45:27 / mi)
shoes: Topo Ultraventure (grey/green)

After checking out of our cabin, we explored Moss Glen Falls, which was a beautiful little area just off of the parking area.

Sunday Aug 14 #

1 PM

Hike/Trekking 5:56:23 [1] 12.13 mi (29:23 / mi)
shoes: Topo Ultraventure (grey/green)

Family walk on the Stowe Recreation Path. Time includes browsing a clearance sale at a ski and bike shop, throwing rocks, and eating dinner on the way back. This was a wonderful afternoon/evening! Evan loves being outside and had a great time. Noah did great himself, and even got to ride in the stroller as a treat at times. The enjoyment of today made up for Ben and Jerry's deciding to close on Sundays and Mondays.
8 PM

Hike/Trekking 31:59 [1] 0.91 mi (35:08 / mi)
shoes: Topo Ultraventure (grey/green)

Hustled up to Sunset Rock. Trek to the actual viewing spot was longer than we expected, but we still had a good 10 minutes of views before heading back.
