Mountain Bike 1:39:35 [3] 12.01 mi (8:18 / mi)

Sloppy ride at Harmony Hill. Nastiness of the trails made moving quickly impossible.

Started off the year with a chilly run around Harmony Hill and the Nature Center. Pace was nothing special considering that I spent the first four miles arguing with my stomach in regards to a large amount of Mediterranean food that was trying to make a reappearance. The last four miles felt rather good.

Kayak Erg 32:00 [2]

One final workout for 2020. Hoping to do this for more of my rest days in the future.

Road Bike 2:30:22 [3] 36.19 mi (4:09 / mi)

New route for me - from home down the CVT then through Charlestown, Chester Springs and Eagle before looping back home. A bit colder than expected and much windier than I realized. I was not feeling it for the last 15 miles, and it was a real struggle to get home.

Chilly (mid 30s), windy, but stunningly beautiful run at Valley Forge. This route was very specific; one that I used to run weekly but haven't done in at least 8 years. From Wayne's Woods, up and over Mount Joy, up and over Mount Misery, and back again. I think I got most of the route spot on, save for a spot at the bottom of Misery where I added a little extra distance and elevation as well as a route that didn't feel familiar around the backside of Mount Joy. A bit rockier than I remember, but I think that has to do with the high level of use of the trails. I pinched my left foot in a rock squeeze and also tweaked my right foot/ankle again, but I think I'll be alright.

I remember doing this run in 64 minutes when I did it, so I guess there is something to be said for my consistency.

Family stroll around a sometimes-muddy Betzwood. Wonderful afternoon!

Cold, sloppy run at Harmony Hill and Paradise Farms. Felt alright, save for the stiff legs at the end. Trails were perfect in many spots, but horrible in some others, specifically the section along the creek that flooded last week.
