Miserable weather day...loved it. Tried to get out on Greg's Alta map, but the trail head was crotch deep. The Alta Road was more sketch than usual so I bailed and headed for Ophir. On a dryer day, I think entry further up is possible, South facing. Deadfall isn't going to be an issue. This map looks like it could be the bollocks of the dog.

Plodded to Chapman Gulch and back to E. Ophir. Very wet. Otter's pocket wet. Dolores River was raging in Rico. I can't see Ophir Pass open until Mid July.

Goose TT. Felt wretched. Paw Paw came in last night with Costco muffins. I ate two prior (total greed).
9th fastest time. 8 secs down on this time last year (4 secs down on the end of last season). Not displeased considering how I felt this morning.

Very Easy Iron Mtn Spur. I sat in the car for 15mins before this at Deep Creek TH thinking..."I just can't be bothered." Then I thought "hang on a minute. How many times have I wanted to run, but been injured. " ....out I plodded.
NB. Nice to watch Boro this afternoon. I had to cover the U6's last night and a parent asked if I was excited for today. He couldn't comprehend that the big game is Thursday and I'd be watching Boro v Coventry and not City v Real.

Easy down Keystone, Illium and up Goose TT. Goose has no snow and no debris on it so I'll have to do an early season TT. Be nice to see where I'm at before I start a new unit of training on Monday.
Rain yesterday has taken quite a bit of snow off the slopes.
