Lovely morning run from dinnet hall. Set off in the big group round Loch kinord then James and I split off to head up the drove road over cambus and down the gorge. Lovely route - gorgeous forest/trails. Big win. Stayed around for the tour of Britain afterwards which was great fun as ever

Control pick - collecting so was a bit slower undoing all the controls. Made a right hash of two of them but was respectable for the rest of it

Running the relay with the controls I’d hung. Mostly approaching controls from a different direction so was very worthwhile and excellent compass practice. Had a wee battle with Sam which was fun

Run out to my control on the three armed relay. The good old vinegar/water shots. Felt highly powerful

Bit of O from the hall doing last night’s exercise. Pretty vague so was good compass practice. Great to spend lots of time in terrain - probs my last chance before Euromeeting

5x2’ (45”,3’) 5x90” (45”,3’) 5x1’ (1’) at the leisure centre. With everything that's been going on recently I haven't done a good ol sesh in nearly a month! Never normally go for a pre-brekky job but it was a necessary evil today. Wanted a sesh with lots of reps so that if I was feeling a bit sluggish I could get into it. However, felt decent to start and continued well. Slower reps on the uphill section obvs but always a pleasure to be at the leisure centre in flats. Super foggy all the time which was highly weird but pleased with the sesh, a decent effort
