Easy Sunday Morning round Beecraigs - impeccable vibes until going round the loch where it seems that the entire Linlithgow population of families with kids under 10 had gone for walks. Good run. No real stuff from the shins

Flew over to Bathgate with the tailwind then very slow back over to Beecraigs. Then at the Loch there was a car in the lay-by which had been torched and burnt to a crisp with just the frame left. Cool.
After that I encountered a very large 20+ sheep road blockade which was diffused by myself and a police van that pitched up.
So it was a very exciting bike ride as it turned out, who’d a thought?

Extended warm up round parkley craigs and down to Springfield, got totally drenched

Sprint round Springfield in the pissing rain. Really enjoyed it and felt like I was moving and navving well despite a long time off sprint training. Took one controversial routechoice through some grot which I’m still not sure about so we’ll see
