Birsemore Black
Pretty decent run. Still not sure about both my long leg routechoices but apart from that really good navigationally, really loving the terrain particularly at the top of the map. Only lost ~10secs to #15 which was very tricky rocky downhill/grotty veg. Came into it to find Nobbie and others playing a big game of drag bingo but managed to avoid a similar fate.
Good stuff overall. Tied my ankle brace too tight so had to stop early on to loosen it which made me feel a bit silly.

Scottish Schools xc @ hopetoun House.
7th. Oof. Was a tough one. Course was in shocking condition which made for some comedy mud sections throughout the course. A good race from me on the whole, managed to be very isolated for the last 3k tho. Maybe went off a bit too hard. Was defo gaining on people on the downhills which was cool but wasn’t feeling incredible on the uphills, struggling to gain traction.

Still, finished off the double double O17 roads/xc schools overall team prize over the last 2 years with the stew mel lads. End of an era. Maybe heriots can start winning some stuff again now lolololol
