Williamscraig- cockleroy north face- witches craig- Home. Managed to keep running the whole way up cockleroy which is a first. Don’t know why the canal path in town is still closed, they must be adding those rocket boosters to the path like the ones you get in mariokart

Decent effort, enjoy training here cos it’s pretty lumpy with some good ground variation as well to keep you on your toes. Nice benchmark at least. Rest day tomorrow

Meadows is back. Felt nice and cruise. Considerably lighter which was nice. Enjoyed my parkour again and just absolute violated a yazoo for my protein boost on the way home. If you know you know.

Phys testing @ Edinburgh - my favourite.
Got to the same point I did last year, which I’ll take tbh. Main thing I struggled with was the mask and how hot and sweaty it made my face. Felt crap around 16kmph but got better and then pushed through 19kmph to hit the big red button. Considered starting 20 but that’s childish.
Good to see I’m now 64.2kgs which is a good thing to have put on some weight from last year, but this meant my VO2 max was lower as a result.
Think it’s more of a psychological battle more than anything else fighting on 4 fronts: yourself, yourself from last year, the boredom and the 4 stop buttons in close eyesight.
