Harvester- Tilgate Forest
Leg 5- 9.3km
Woke up by Marcus around 2.45 and told we had a good lead. Actually ended up missing Roger in the changeover losing us 20 secs NOOOO.
Messed up #1 cos the campsite was right there. After that was slow and steady. Got noticeably lighter around 4.20 but still needed the torch in forest bits. Quite scrappy and not helped by bracken.
Felt sick around half way and actually tried to chunder three times but then just carried on. Anyway, FVO won so slow and steady really does win the race.

Went full yeet mode at the start which tbh paid off with 1st km split of 2.57. Came 4th which isn’t bad with trainers on
