Northern Champs
5.9km- 3rd
A scrappy and tired run with 2 ~90 sec mistakes and a few control circle wobbles. Never seemed to get going really, nav was on the whole ok but just a bit of meerkating and poor picture for a few controls. Felt tired and uninspired so Not surprised with the time gaps but still a decent result and is the end of 6 solid selection races for me :)

Update- looking at splits seems like I lost more time than I thought with mistakes and also balls up running round the path for 6- guessing a straighter option was better

V technical but held it together pretty well, mostly planning ahead with a few hesitations and one ~10secs mistake at #4 with the annoying control description. Pleased to take the win

10 secs,20,30,40,30,20,10,20,30,70 with walk down recoveries. Saw this on someone else’s AP (can’t remember who!) a while ago and it was a good session. Working hard in the heat- a glorious 18 degrees

Very windy so felt tough. Others did 4km tempo but just not needed before a race.
